Loaded Sweet Potato Fries is healthy, easy, and is made from scratch. It is the perfect food for the game night and an ideal crowd-pleaser. It is made by frying/ baking the sweet potato fries and loading them with the topping of corn, jalapeno, avocado, and cheese sauce.

When the fries are loaded with delicious nacho flavor, they indeed are a winner. You can make the loaded sweet potato fries with Mexican flavors or pizza flavor, or you can also top the fries with chili with some extra cheese.

You can also serve them as a salad, as it basically is a big plate of veggies with sweet potatoes, onion, tomatoes, avocados, corn, etc. The fries are then topped with my version of buffalo (vegan) cheese sauce made with cashews, water, seasoning, and buffalo (or hot) sauce.

💭TOP TIPS

  1. Cut the sweet potatoes in equal-sized fries shaped into matchsticks.
  2. The fries should not be too thick or too thin. If the fries are too thick, then they will not turn crispy. If the fries are too thin, then they will turn hard or may burn.
  3. Soak the fries in the water, that way the fries will not come out dry.
  4. On a baking sheet place wire rack and add fries over the wire rack. That way there will be air circulating at the bottom of the fries & in turn make them crispy.
  5. To make them more crispier, bake the fries in a cast iron skillet.
  6. It is best to be consume them immediatley.

📖SUBSTITUTIONS

  1. VEGGIES: You can add veggies like onion, garlic, olives, corns, peppers, green onions, cilantro, parsley, jalapeno, coleslaw, tomatoes, etc.
  2. SAUCE: You can add cheese sauce or dairy-free cheese sauce, or hot pepper sauce, greek yogurt sauce, mayonnaise, etc.
  3. SPICES: You can spice them with cajun seasoning, chipotle, Indian masala, buffalo style, ranch, jalapeno flavored, etc.

⭐STORAGE

Loaded sweet potato fries should be consumed immediately. If not, then you can store it in an air-tight container. For reheating, place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.

🍽WHAT TO SERVE THEM WITH?

You can serve them with a burger or wrap of your choice. I like to serve these fries with Vegetarian Sloppy joe's.
