baked oats with blueberries stacked on a plate with chocolate syrup dripping from the top

If you're bored with old regular oats, then do try this Baked Oats Recipe. It is made with oats, maple syrup, and blueberries. This gives a nice twist to the boring breakfast. You can serve it with some milk or fruits, and you can also drizzle some maple syrup or chocolate syrup.

It is healthy & wholesome, and you can make it in advance. You can add different fruits like apple, strawberry, pear, etc., to experiment with the flavors. Blueberries are my favorite, and I use them in almost everything, so I thought to try Baked Oatmeal with blueberries, and it was a hit.

Looking for other healthier breakfast recipes. Then do try Besan Puda (Savory Vegan Pancakes), Masala Oats, Methi Thepla, Sweet Potato & Chickpeas Hash, Pistachio & Cranberry Chocolate Bark, Misal Pav, and Amritsari Kulche. I'm also sharing the list of all of my Breakfast Recipes.

I usually get a big bag of Oats from Sam's club, and I'm always looking for different ways to use them. I recently made Oatmeal Bars which I'll share soon too. Blueberry Baked Oatmeal is just too delicious, and you can make it in an Instant Pot or in an Air Fryer.

If you're looking for other oats recipes, then do try these healthy and delicious Oats Recipes, including overnight oats, oats porridge, etc.

These TikTok baked oats are like eating cake for breakfast, and with the bonus, these are super healthy. You can also make it in a blender for an airy texture. These blended baked oats also go perfect with peanut butter, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, etc.

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED

  • OATS: This is the main ingredient for the recipe. You can use rolled oats, steel-cut oats, old-fashioned oats, or can even use oat flour. You can also make your own oat flour and use it in the recipe. Though steel cuts oats don't go so well in the recipe, they don't blend in the baked oatmeal recipe well.
  • EGGS: You can make this recipe with eggs. For a vegan or an eggless version of baked oats, you can use a flax egg along with vegan milk.
  • BANANA: Adding banana provides a nice flavor and texture to the baked oats. Also, it provides sweetness to the recipe. Or you can also add ¼ to ½ cup of milk to the recipe.
  • SWEETENER: You can also add honey or maple syrup for a little sweetness in the recipe. Or you can also add 1-2 tablespoon of sugar too.
  • BAKING POWDER: Along with eggs, you can also add a teaspoon of baking powder for a fluffy & smooth texture.
  • SALT: Salt helps in balancing the flavors.
  • ADD-ONS: I like adding peanut butter, nut butter, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, etc., for the add-on flavoring to the baked oats recipe.

TIPS TO REMEMBER

  1. Steel cuts oats don't go so well in the recipe; they don't blend in the baked oatmeal recipe well.
  2. If you're making oats flour, make sure to use a high-speed blender like Vitamix.
  3. Grease the pan before adding the batter. You can use cooking spray or butter or even line the parchment paper in the baking dish.
  4. You can add bananas for a creamy texture. Also, if you add ripe bananas, you just need 1-2 tablespoon of maple syrup, as bananas also provide sweetness to the oats recipe.
  5. You can also add some yogurt for a more soft & fluffy texture of oats cake.
  6. You can also use the same batter to make cupcakes or even pancakes and waffles. Tastes amazing either way.

Baked oatmeal tastes best when you make it fresh. But sometimes I like to make them ahead of time just to save some time in the morning. You can cover them with foil or plastic wrap. And store them in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
